Bowlers share how Coach Ken sharpened their skills and boosted confidence.

“I wanted to express my full satisfaction with Coach Ken Fair.  I am 61 years old and Ihave been bowling for a little over 10 years.  Never had a coach, watched a lot ofbowling YouTube videos and received tips from other bowlers.  I did ok but always knewsomething was missing.  Some of the things that I was having trouble with were how tobe more consistent with picking up the dreaded 10 pin – lol, and how to read the oilpatterns. So, I met up with Ken Fair and we talked about bowling; took one of hisclasses and my eyes opened up.  There is more to bowling than just throwing a ball.Since taking a few lessons I have moved up on my approach, I’m working on improvingmy balance when I release the ball, working to increase my % on making my 10 pins, and thinking about my ball path in straighter lines. Working on my drills has made me amuch better overall bowler. I still haven’t bowled a 300 yet but I feel that I will with theskills I have been practicing with Coach Ken. If there is anyone that is looking for acoach, you will be amazed on much better you will become being coached by Ken Fair.”

“I truly appreciate the foundational training I received from Coach Ken. Starting out inany sport can be challenging, but the structured focus. proper technique, andinstructions on the core mechanics of the game that I work on with Coach Ken havemade an enormous difference in my bowling. The video feedback during the sessionsand the follow-up videos that he sends make it easier to make corrections because Ican clearly see myself making the desired movements. Thanks Coach.”

“Coach Ken is great! Not only is he patient and encouraging, but he helped me adjustmy approach to accommodate the fact that I’m not as strong as I used to be. I learned to shorten my steps and let the bowl do the work.”

“I have been working with Coach Ken for the past few months on improving my bowling game. Coach is helping me improve how I deliver the ball, getting it down the lane and watching my ball’s reaction. He’s consistently drilling me on my follow through and to get me to stop doing what he calls “dancing” after I release the ball. I wasn’t even aware that I was doing it. Seeing myself on video showed me what I was doing and has been instrumental in me improving that. Coach Ken works with you to develop your skills and bring out your best performance. He answers all questions and throws in some of his famous quotes from time to time, One of them is that sometimes “you have to get uncomfortable to get comfortable doing the skill the right way” but one of my favorite ones is “practice does not make perfect, practice makes permanent.” He emphasizes the importance of PRACTICE. Because as we all know there’s never enough practice. It’s a lot of work but it’s definitely been worth it. It’s been a rewarding journey to look back from when I was scoring around 140 a game to now producing BIGGER numbers – 160 – 180’s even 200’s. That’s a Huge 20 to 40point come up for me! Great Feeling (Thanks Coach).I am still a work in progress, but because of the sessions with Coach Ken I am scoring more and enjoying the game more than before. Thank you, Coach Ken, for your dedication and LOVE for the game of bowling and wanting to share it with others!”

“Coach Ken has the patience to teach the fundamentals of the game and that issomething that I overlooked. He has helped me give my ball more speed withoutmuscling it. Helped me build up my confidence on making the 10 pin by lining up for itcorrectly and mentally not letting it defeat me. We work on how to line up for all spares, making corner pins consistently, and throwing good shots over and over again.”

“Working with Coach Ken has helped me improve my release timing, my approach andmy targeting. We started working on focal points and I’m adding that to my arsenal. I’malso vastly improving my knowledge of my equipment. Coach Ken has given me adeeper understanding of this sport – he is capable of breaking down some of the mostcomplex parts of bowling to where they are easily understood. The video feedback is onpoint, and it helps me improve faster because seeing myself on screen makes it’s easierto make adjustments to my game.”
